ReviewThe SiteSell affiliate program (also known as the 5 Pillar program), is an affiliate program where you earn commission by selling various small-business, webmaster and marketing tools.Commission amounts vary depend on the particular products you sell, and as some services are subscription-based, you can also earn commission on your referrals' renewals (thus allowing you to earn residual income). Furthermore, once you sell one product to a particular person, you also earn commission on any sales of other products to that person. This can be a nice source of passive income once you build up a good customer base. There is a huge number of linking options and affiliate tools, including free eBooks that you can give away. Of course, the program tends to works best if you can find products that tie in with your site's theme, so as a result, it may not be suitable for every webmaster. Like many other affiliate programs, SiteSell is a 2-tier affiliate program, so you can earn a little extra by referring other webmasters to their affiliate program. One of the best things about this program is the huge amount of educational materials that are made available free to affiliates. While some of this material does promote SiteSell's own products, there is certainly lots of valuable information that would be useful to any affiliate of any program, so it is worth joining for this reason, whether or not you plan to become an active SiteSell affiliate. ConclusionOverall this is an excellent and well-designed program.The only real weaknesses are that the products are not necessarily suitable for promoting from all types of web sites, and that there are many existing SiteSell affiliates competing for the same customers. My thought is that pretty much everybody, especially newbie affiliates, should join this program, simply to get access to the educational materials. There is no harm or cost in doing so, as membership is completely free. After that, it's upto you to determine how much effort you want to put into promoting SiteSell's products.
